We're proud to shine a spotlight on more fantastic efforts to support good local causes by our Contracts Manager Ihtishaam Mahmood. Ihti recently volunteered at the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k run at the beginning of June.

Ihti shared his personal reasons for getting involved: "It was a great experience to be part of the volunteer team and to support such a meaningful cause. I chose to take part because I wanted to give back to the local community in an active way that would make a real, positive difference."

The event itself was a resounding success, with over 1,200 runners participating. Ihti described the atmosphere as "fantastic throughout," adding, "it was inspiring to see so many people come together, and I really enjoyed being able to contribute."

Ihti had a busy and exciting day at the charity event. He acted as a marshal at one of the checkpoints, guiding runners along the route and cheering them on to keep their spirits high. He also lent a hand with the event setup, helping to place banners around the race start and finish area.

Ihti’s dedication to helping local charity events is a brilliant example of how our employees can contribute to social good. Despite his busy job and family life, Ihti regularly gives his time to supporting charities and local causes, embodying our commitment to community involvement.

Brilliant work, Ihti! Your efforts truly make a difference.
